EQUAL EDUCATION OPPORTUNITIES

It shall be the policy of the Catahoula School Board that the school district shall place an emphasis upon the nondiscriminatory provision of educational opportunities for children and no person shall be excluded from participation in or denied the benefits of any education service, program or activity on the basis of race, color, disability, religion, creed, national origin, natural, protective, or cultural hairstyle, age, or sex.

The Superintendent or designee shall investigate any and all complaints which may be brought against the district in regard to any alleged discriminatory action.  Students who experience less than equal educational opportunities or experience discrimination shall report and appeal any harassment or discriminatory practice to appropriate school officials.
