BOARD INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF NEW FACILITIES

It shall be the policy of the Catahoula Parish School Board that the acceptance of new construction be withheld until completion is certified by the Superintendent of Schools.

No such certification shall be made until all contractual agreements have been met to an extent considered satisfactory under the Louisiana laws and the prescribed Board standards.

Upon completion of the construction, the Board, Superintendent of Schools, or his/her designee, and the architect shall make an inspection of the project before the Board shall accept the finished product.  Any payments involved shall be reviewed at this time, and the Board, with advice of the architect, shall have final authorization for any payment.
